CLASS INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES


  • FUNdamentals Cheer Class...Cheer preparation class focusing on cheer and jump technique, motions, stunting, flexibility and more.  Great for athletes wanting to prepare for All-Star, School or Pop Warner Cheer.    


  • Flexibility Class...This class focus' on body positions for athletes who are or who want to become better flyers.  The class will focus on each athlete's flexibility in the areas of legs, back, shoulders and hips.


  • Tiny Tumblers...Tiny Tumblers is an introductory tumbling course geared towards the very young beginning level tumblers.  The goal of "Tiny Tumblers" is to teach the fundamentals of tumbling, flexibility, balance and coordination.  This class will help our most active athletes to practice waiting their turn and holding their focus and attention during class all while experiencing an energetic and fun class.  This class is geared towards 4-6 year olds.  


  • Beginning Tumbling-Level 1 "Intro to Tumbling" focusing on tumbling technique at the very beginning level.  Cartwheels, handstands, bridges, limbers, kick-overs and the starting fundamental drills of a backhandspring.  


  • Backhandspring Class-This is the natural progression from basics in tumbling to working on perfecting that one particular skill.  THE BACKHANDSPRING.  Prior tumbling knowledge is required as well as a bridge kickover, cartwheel and full knowledge and mastery of the Beginning Tumbling skill set.    


  • Tucks "N" Stuff-Level 3-4 Intermediate Tumbling skills through Tucks and Layouts.  Must have a strong round off backhandspring on the floor by themselves and mastery of the Backhandspring class skills.  


  • Twist "N" Stuff-Level 5-6 Advanced Tumbling Skills through fulls and double fulls.  Must have a consistent and mastered tuck/layout.  



  • SPECIALTY CLASSES 


  • Flight School-A class designed to put athletes up in the air to work on their flying technique and skills.  


  • Flyer/Flex Class-A class designed to stretch your athlete and work on proper body technique for flying.  Our stretch classes are for Team Athletes only and/or class athletes with prior approval.   


  • Jump Class-A class designed to perfect your athlete's jumping skills through stretching, drills and jump technique.   This class will be offered several times throughout the year.

Members of our Cheer or Stunt Teams receive a 25% discount on their tumbling classes per month

Multiple discounts cannot be combined.

GYM POLICIES

FEES

MONTHLY TUITION for Tumbling Classes are $70/month per class.  Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and if not paid by the 7th, a late fee is automatically assessed.  $15 for Class member and $25 for Team Members.  YEARLY REGISTRATION is $35 and is due by each family member.  Yearly Registration is billed annually on your anniversary month.  We offer a FREE LESSON for all of our normal monthly classes.  You must register online to schedule a free lesson.  DISCOUNTS for multiple classes and siblings are available.  

WHAT TO WEAR

All athletes should wear comfortable athletic style clothing.  (Shorts and a tshirt, tank top or sports bra) Hair should be tied up in a pony tail and all jewelry should be removed prior to entering the gym.  Athletic or Cheer Shoes are suggested for all tumbling and cheer classes.  

MAKE UP LESSONS

Make Up Classes are offered when at least a 3 hour notice is given to the Office. All make ups must be completed within 4 weeks of the missed class. All make ups are forfeited if you withdrawal from the program.  Our tuition is based on a 4 week month while some months have 5 weeks and others have only 3. It is necessary for you to call the office to schedule your make up.  Magic All-Stars allows students to do Drop In Classes as long as there is space available in the class and prior notification is given.  Drop in classes are $20/class.  ($10/class for current Team Members)  Please email the office at least 2 hours in advance to schedule a Drop In class.  Payment is due prior to the start of the class and will be charged to the card on file.  

DROPPING YOUR CLASS

A 4 Week Drop Notice in writing is required. Please stop by the office to fill out your withdrawal form or download from our website. You will be responsible for the additional 4 weeks worth of tuition in which a class was held in your child's name if you do not turn in your written 4 Week Drop notice.   Once you drop from the program, all make ups are forfeited.  All make ups must be completed while you are enrolled in the class. 

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are a privilege and athletes must be in good standing with Magic All-Stars with a zero balance.  All participants MUST sign in on the private lesson clipboard.  All athlete's must pay a $35 Yearly Registration Fee to schedule a private lesson. Private lesson request forms can be found on our website.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We have implemented the following policies to help keep our athletes safe and healthy.  Temperatures should be taken at home prior to each class and if your athlete exhibits any of the following symptoms, we ask that they stay home.  Extreme cough, runny nose, fever, vomiting.   No sharing of water by athletes.  Masks may be worn by athletes if they wish.  We ask that you put your clean cheer shoes on after you arrive inside the gym.    


WARNING:  An inherent risk of exposure to COVID -19 exists in any public space where people are present.  COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.  By entering this location and participating in meetings, classes, programs and special events, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
